Relocate the user menu from wordpress top menu to topmenu

Hello!

Once a user is logged in, he will see the wordpress top menu AND the theme top menu which is defacing the website design. What I would like to know is if it is possible to move the user menu in the wordpress front-end top menu somewhere else (else, you end up with 2 top menus in fact, the one of wordpress).

Also, can I use the theme top menu to embed the user top menu.

For the theme top menu, there is a placeholder for social icons: can I use it to replace social icons with whatever I want?

Same question for the main menu: on the right there is a search function that I would like to replace with social icons.

Thank you for your time

Hello,

Unfortunately our theme does not have the options you require. If you want to remove the theme top menu you can do so from here: http://screencast.com/t/rNRdCf0AeQ but iff you do so, you will not have a sign in widget anymore. This is the way our theme was set up. The top menu elements and main menu elements do not have options to remove and/or replace them. It can only be done through customization.

Thank you!

Hello Bogdan,

I think that without custom development, I will not be able to do everything I wanted on my website.

I would be ready to learn and would like to know if there is any coding software you would recommend to me to smoothly go deeper into wrodpress customization.

I heard about apatana studio but it won’t install on my PC.

Thank you and have a nice day!

Hello,

We do not use any software other than a text interpreter. Notepad ++ is a pretty good one and it’s free of charge. That is the best method of going into editing code. I cannot recommend any software that can do this and even if you find a tool for editing WordPress, the tool will not work on our theme. Premium theme s have custom code that the soft created for WordPress will most likely not be able to detect.

Thank you!
