Hi,
I initially installed the Black Version demo and built my site. I have now realised that light text on a dark background doesn’t offer readers the best experience and because my site is rather text heavy I wanted to change to dark on light. In the main theme panel there doesn’t seem to be a way to do this now the demo is installed. Changes to the Post and Page fonts in the content section don’t appear to alter anything (although changes to the footer and sub-footer do).
Do I need to uninstall the demo to make these changes or is there some way around this?
If I did uninstall the demo and reinstall another would I lose all the menus, favicons, etc? Would it be the same as switching between different WordPress themes?
Apologies if these are dumb questions, I’m a bit of a WordPress noob.

Unfortunately switching demos will be the only option as there is no simple way of editing a demo style. Now, for your content, it depends if you edited the demo content or not. We do not recommend editing the demo content as this gets removed when switching demos even if you edit it;s content. We suggest creating your own content, and not using the dummy data.

I didn’t edit any demo content so should be okay. I’ll just uninstall the demo and do things manually rather than reinstalling one of the other demos.
Well, demos are not mandatory. You can start creating your site without any demos installed and you will have access to the theme;s full functionality.

I love this black theme. but need dark texts and white background since the layout is exactly what i need. I don’t see the Instagram section close to the footer in any other demos. So I’m trying to stick to this them and just inverse text color and background. http://www.miamidominicano.com PLEASE HELP >> how can i do that ?

If you require black text and white background, simply install the default demo. The footer Instagram is available for all demos. Demos change only the style of the theme, not it’s functionality. The footer Instagram is a theme feature, not a demo-specific feature. It can be activated on all demos: http://screencast.com/t/36TGHtTh
