Hi there, I’m installing a separate wordpress installation on my site for our sites e-commerce because it’s already too hard to maintain the site with huge database. Should i buy another license? It seems to be activated but resets all the preferences after a while.

Please note that we don’t manage the theme sales, our themes are sold exclusively on envato market and they specify that an item can be used only on a single product (website/domain), you can read more about this here – http://themeforest.net/licenses/standard – http://themeforest.net/licenses/faq
However you can use the license on multiple test sites and on multiple sub-domains as a part of the same site-product as we did on our demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
The theme does not reset anything by default. This happens only if you run the reset command from theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/jp98RGWHrB2F or if somehow the database is affected or damaged. It’s a good practice to make regular backups to your site just to make sure that you have a starting point is something bad happens: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups
