Good Afternoon Guys,
It was brought to my attention recently that contributors cannot see the post settings menu to provide sources or do reviews. Is there a setting I need to tweak or is this a theme default? We do have user role editor running on our site as well but there is nothing relating to post settings.
Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately there is no easy way of doing this, The theme does not change the default user roles of wp and the same permissions apply to users as they do here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities
