How do I remove this from showing?

If you want to remove the author you can do it from 2 places. One is for the post itself and can be deactivate from here: http://screencast.com/t/XJblBn08f2
The other option is for the homepage and category archives: http://screencast.com/t/IvJKtTHgyW
