I am trying to get Facebook comments to show BELOW the social share buttons.
I followed a post on this forum that explained how to achieve this and I managed to get them to work using:
<div class=”fb-comments” data-href=“http://positivetruenews.com/” data-width=”100%” data-numposts=”10″></div>
which was added to the loop-single.php file.
However, when I change it to :
<div class=”fb-comments” data-href=“<?php the_permalink(); ?>” data-width=”100%” data-numposts=”10″></div>
it doesn’t show at all.
My client insists that the comments must go below the social sharing so I need to make it work.
Any ideas where I am going wrong?

If you want to add the FB comments below the social sharing button, please notice that you should edit the td_module_single.php core file and add there the shortcode generated by the FB, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/vZPs4y0xKO or you can add to the loop-single corresponding to post template used by you. For example, if you are using the post template 1 you should edit the loop-single-1.php, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/CG10jYUrZ Please notice that we only guide you to the right direction and then you should try to implement yourself this because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
If you want to display more levels in theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you in this case!
