I’m working on setting up the Newspaper 7 theme on a well established website that has accumulated a massive database of posts.
The old (six years old) site had plugins built into it that are unique to this set up. The challenge I’m facing is getting the key publications into the various grids etc. of the Newspaper theme.
For example there is a built in plugin called feature
I am building the new set up in a staging area on the same server as the database was too big to download and upload to a new server.

Other plugins can cause issues with our theme and we cannot ensure the theme functionality with untested plugins.
As for the theme grids and layout, you will have to use the documentation to figure out the best way to approach your case. The block settings are very important to set up posts in a block: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
