As you know that, by clicking “log in” from the “top menu”, an ajax based login page pops-up. I am not using Top-Menu but I want that Ajax-login popup in my sub-footer.
I mean, Suppose I create a custom link menu item in the sub footer section and give it a name like ” Log In”. Now what should I write so that this ajax based login can pop up?
I don’t know if I am putting it in a right way or not but I was the same triggered action by clicking “Log In” link anywhere else which we get on the top menu. Is there any code, link etc which can help me achieve this.

Unfortunately I cannot help on this one as we have tried it before. It is not the first such request, but there is no simple method as the modal was written specifically for the top menu. It will not show up anywhere else. The code for it is pretty complex and it requires quite a bit of customization to be moved to another spot. We suggest hiring a freelancer on this one as it’s not a simple task.
