So, I just noticed that comments that come from Facebook don’t show up with their photos attached, but rather the ubiquitous “no-photo” guy:
However, in my admin area, WordPress definitely recognizes the Facebook profile photos for these comments:

Do you use any plugin? By default wordpress uses gravatar.

Emil, thanks for the response! I use several plugins, but nothing that should deter the thumbnails from being used. All Gravatar images display correctly, but the facebook ones don’t. This never bothered me, because I didn’t even know WordPress would pull FB images, but when I see the thumbnail profile pics in my admin/comment area, I was just wondering why that can’t translate over to the front-end of the site. Any ideas?

You can try the wp user avatar plugin and see if you can change the default avatar with the ones stored in the wordpress backend. – http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-user-avatar/
We use it on our demo.
