Hi,
I followed instructions on creating FB app and entered details App Id and Security Key, on Facebook id Press-032-1083898388288593 that is fan page id, on the frontpage it shows 0 fans.
when i set Facebook id to full URL https://www.facebook.com/Press-032-1083898388288593 then i can see how many fans page have. Problem is that button on front page points to link https://www.facebook.com/https://www.facebook.com/Press-032-1083898388288593
I have the exact same problem.
The social counter works fine and displays all my followers when I enter the full URL (https://www.facebook.com/mypagename) in Facebook ID, but in this case it doesn’t link to my Facebook page.
When I only enter my Facebook name without the in Facebook ID, it links to my Facebook page, but it displays 0 followers.
Is there some way I can fix this?
Hello Jamie_Block,
You will get this error because you does not correctly add your facebook ID. Please notice that you should only insert the number in the certain field in Social Counter, like this -> 1083898388288593 and the counter will work as properly. I have tested on my site and everything seems to work as properly. After checking the results, you should clear all your caches.
