Featured images without uploading

Hello guys!

I post a lot of posts a day, so it’s very hard to upload every image of every post to set it as featured. In my previous theme, when I didn’t set the featured image, the theme automatically took the first image appearing in the post and considered it as featured, showing in the thumbs, slider, etc.

This doesn’t happen in Newspaper.

I tryed using the plugin “Autoset featured image plus”, that took the first image in the post body and set as featured, but is still not being recognized by Newspaper theme.

Any tip?

Hello tucatricolor,

Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to automatically added as the featured image the first image inside your post, sorry! Please notice that you can use a plugin with this functionality, named Auto Post Thumbnail Pro which is a suggestion of our important user. You should try this and check the results.
