I bought your “Newspaper” theme. I get a notification to activate my copy of Visual Composer. I followed it couple of times, but it shows an error “It seems that you do not have any valid license for Visual Composer….”
Since I bought Newspaper theme, wouldn’t I already received a licensed copy of Visual Composer? How do I activate it?
You don’t need to activate it. Activation only gives you support from the WP Bakery folks, which is not included with the bundled version.

Visual composer does not need activation.
-The theme includes a license for this plugin so you don’t have to buy it.
-You don’t have to activate the plugin license, it’s already activated.
-You can’t update Visual Composer directly from the it’s producer.
-You don’t have to worry about the plugin update warnings.
-We provide updates on a regular basis, after we test the plugin for theme compatibility we include it in the latest theme update, inside the ../plugins folder
