I have a problem with theme panel. My theme version is 1.5 and I try to update to 3, but each time I have a lot of errors.
I use FTP to update the theme and updated all my plugins before.

I also can’t use my theme panel with the version 1.5. It worked before and now I can’t even save changes.

Hello seban,
This behavior happens due that I suppose you have not installed properly the theme. First of all, before each update, you should make a full backup to save all your data. Then you have to remove your old theme and replace it with the newest one. This process should have been done only via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard, in order to bring the best results. Install only the plugins which come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting between theme core and some untested plugins. I solved my problem.
Before updating, I switched theme to a basic one. After all updates, I came back to Newsmag, and then created a new child theme (the previous one caused errors).
Now, everything seems working.
