Hey,
my current mission is to change my fonts throughout my blog. In the Newspaper theme panel under “theme fonts” I have a huge variety of fonts but unfortunately can’t preview any of them somewhere unless I click on a module (eg. header) and change the font there and reload my website afterwards. It’s working, but painstakingly slow. Is there maybe a way to preview fonts in the theme panel without always reloading the website to view changes?
Thanks.
Torsten
Hello expeditionadvena,
It probably happens due to your configuration. Try to increase your system status to the higher parameters from .htaccess according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Also, if you are using some untested plugins with the theme, try to disable all of them and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins.
Thanks for the message!
Hey Catalin, I didn’t really understand the coherences, but wrote a php.ini (php changes in ht.access were denied) with all parameters featured in your guide. Also my Ram usage is 256MB.
I deactivated all plugins not tested with newspaper and still have the same result, no preview of fonts.
I attached a screenshot, because I maybe communicated my problem in a wrong way.

All I want is to see beforehand how a certain font type looks like, before I save the changes and see it happening at the actual page…

For Google fonts you can go to Google’s website
https://fonts.google.com/
For common ‘font stacks,’ you can preview here
http://www.cssfontstack.com/
Also nice extension for Chrome for Google Fonts:
