Easy way to add custom class to all featured images?

Hello,

I’m trying to get our RSS feed to play nice with Google Play Newsstand which was just update for iOS, Android and released for the web.

In order to get Google to recognize an article’s “hero” image (their term), every featured image needs to have the class “type:primaryImage.”

Requirement

Is there a tweak that can be made to the theme that will add this class to every featured image?

You can do that only if you will add your second class for your featured images inside the theme core file, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/2PXjYjjtf
