I just installed the theme, I set up the home page by studying the code generated
by the demo install on a localhost, I prefer working with the shortcodes rather than Visual
composer.
I got a couple of questions:
1.I used the tag [td_block_slide] to generate the slide on the home page, how do i make
the slide to auto-slide and to display pictures from let’s say 6 latest posts.
2.What is the visual composer short codes for Latest Posts widget, Categories widget,and Text widget.
3.How do I make the default side bar appear on the home page.
4.How do I populate the Editor Picks widgets in the footer with selected posts.

1. and 2. You can see all the visual compose rshortcodes after adding an element on a blank page and then switching to classic and text mode like so: http://screencast.com/t/8BA40ajXxomQ
3. You can only creatye a sidebar in visual composer by splitting columns and adding a widgetized sidebar to the 1/3 column
4. The editor picks is populated when you add posts to the ‘featured’ category
