Category Megamenu dead end

Hi I check the old entries but I couldnt find something to get idea to fix my problem if I there is another topic written about it, sorry.

My problem is Category Megamenu, its work great and design well.

All my categories are without parent or subcategory in my site and there are more than10000-15000 posts in 9-10 category.

First Way: Create some parent category and change category to subcategory and move under parent category.

Problem: if I create a parent category and move old categories under that parent category, my urls will change, since I’m using /%category%/%postname%/ permalink structure, all links from social media and google will get Error 404 when people try to reach. Google is ok, it can reindex but as twitter and facebook. This urls cannot change needs to remove.

Normal url: http://www.site.com/category1/post/
if I change: http://www.site.com/newcategory/category1/post/

Second way: I keep categories same, and use Category menu without subcategory.

Home – Categories – Category1 – Category2 – Category3 – Category4 – Category5 – Category6 – Category 7 – Category 8 – Category 9 – Category 10 – Gallery – Authors Contact US

Problem: If I use like this; I’ve 9-10 category and the menu width will not enough to show all items, also second menu line will create and this line will cut megamenu.

If its possible I need something like this.
To create a Menu item like Dummy name (News example) links to blogpage, and I move categories under it and all that categories show as same as subcategory megamenu.

News http:///url/news/ <- works as Category on menu to create Category Megamenu.

-Category1 – works as subcategory
-Category2 – works as subcategory
-Category3 – works as subcategory
