How do I hide/show author in posts + hide/show date

Hi,

I’m a little frustrated to find out a Newspaper theme doesn’t have a simple on/off button for hiding or showing a byline and date in all posts. Given the ‘curated’ nature of a lot of content online nowadays, and the need to give the perception that content is ‘current’ (i.e don’t show the date if the story it’s pegged to isn’t time sensitive), I would think both of those features would be a prerequisite.

Can someone please assist with a simple explanation on how to do both of the above? That would be a huge help, thanks.

Hello,

Newspaper theme does have such an option. There are two ways of disabling the meta info on Modules/Blocks, one in post settings – http://prntscr.com/didl78 and one in block settings – http://prntscr.com/didlry. Please make sure to save your settings.
