Add your focus keyword into the content of your homepage

Hello there,
I really need your help 🙂 How can I add my focus keyword (“Posthorn”) into the content of my homepage? I have used the focus keyword in the header, the footer, the tagline, the title and in an article already, which is displayed at the homepage. But the plugin “WordPress SEO by Yoast” (which I am using) can still not find the focus keyword in the content of my homepage. This means that Google can not find my homepage correctly. I might experience the same thing. But the focus keyword is still therethough. Just that that Yoast SEO cannot find it. It also sayd “No H2 tag” and much more on a single post sometimes, even though it is still there. Haven’t experienced that with other themes.

I’m experiencing the same problem.
My homepage is built with the pagebuilder – so how exactly should I add the keyword in a h1 on the homepage via the pagebuilder? Is there a way to do it in a “hidden” way so it doesn’t ruin the homepage design?

Simple way to add text to your homepage is make separate sidebar for the homepage, and just put a text box in the sidebar describing “About this site” … with a paragraph, and <h3> tag for your keyword, then link to the full about us page. A “hidden” H1 is bad for SEO, as is ALL hidden text – period, full stop. Alt tag on your logo with your keyword good idea, a descriptive text box at bottom of home page, in widget on footer, on sidebar, etc., are all great places to add that kind of thing unobtrusively but still have the text on the page. And of course make sure your description tag for your home “page” is setup in Yoast, which you do from the PAGE you create for static home page with PageBuilder.
