I was wondering where I could put a custom code for a footer design I want to add to my website JustFreshKicks.com. Basically I want to add the footer of this theme: http://www.nicekicks.com/ onto my website. Specifically I just want the Newsletter part. I have the theme code (I purchased it) and was wondering would I just take the footer.php code and copy it somewhere? Thanks!

If you want to create your own custom footer, you should edit the theme core file according to this section and there you should add the code for this. Please notice that this task involve custom work and we cannot provide additional customizations. You should edit these files, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/Bmfz8fuER If you want to display more levels in our theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you!

If i edit one of the footer templates (for example footer template 2) and i am NOT using that template, will anything happen to my website? Because I am not 100% sure of what I am doing, but am willing to test some things out on one of those files, and would like to know if its safe to edit one of the templates I am not using. Thanks!

If you want to change the structure of footer template style 2 for example, you should edit the core file corresponding to this template, like td_footer_template_2.php, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/X11iYuEQ3dQm To be safe, you can make a backup to this file (simply copy/paste the code to another file).

I changed the footer template 4 file in my CPanel and changed the footer style to template 4 in the newsmag settings and I don’t see any changes for some reason. I cleared cache too.
Update: I figured out what I was doing wrong. Nevermind!
I tried a ton of methods and can’t get the footer of the other theme onto my current website with Newsmag. Is there any way I can pay you, or someone you know to help me get the footer of one of my themes I used to own (Authentic) onto my current theme (Newsmag)? Specifically, I would like the subscribe to newsletter part, and that is all. However, if the Instagram posts part can be done that would be even better (not needed though). I have both theme files and can provide them. I can give you my skype or something to discuss if interested.
