I’ve upgraded to the latest 3.9 release and I’ve noticed that the view counter is still doesn’t work. I’m using w3 total cache but no speedboster plugin,or jetpack. The prime example I can give you, somebody posted on of our articles on reddit and we got around 5k visitors on that article, the counter showed 20, even after clearing the cache and the next day. I’m not sure what was fixed or if I had to do anything extra to make it work.
I’d appreciate a piece of advice.

A recent issue that we have solved was the conflict with the latest version of the SEO by Yoast plugin, but we had fixed. The problem with the W3 Total Cache exist, of course we found a solution that worked in past, but now I’m not sure that still work with latest WP version, but worth a try if you want to test it.

Or disable the W3 total cache if you want views.
