Hello. I would like to move my social buttons to the top of my posts (like this: http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/06/27/Zuckerberg-Features-Paul-Ryan-John-Boehner-Kevin-McCarthy-in-Video-to-Pressure-GOP-on-Amnesty). I use the child theme, so I need to know how to do this with the child theme so that my changes don’t get wiped out with updates to Newspaper.

You can also do this with the child-theme by copying those two files and modifying them like shown.
