On my site’s home page (finalfatloss.com), it displays my blog posts, each in their entirety. I would like to cut off each post at a desired length with a “read more” button.
I’ve tried to find this but with no avail. If the answer is “Excerpts” I have no idea what td_block to use.
Thank you.
Hi,
In order to have a red more button you will have to add it inside your post content on each post. This is only if you plan on using this module (module 15). You can use this tag: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-split-wordpress-posts-into-multiple-pages/
if you find it difficult to add the nextpage tag on each post, you can try a different approach and use a module that is not used anywhere else on your site and simply enlarge the automatic excerpt to a desired length. You can change the homepage module from here: http://screencast.com/t/x70vVuzc and the excerpt length from here:

Thank you!
Hello, @maik-b,
Unfortunately, there is no setting to do what you need with the “Continue reading or Read More ” button.
But, a solution for this could be a setting to break the article after a paragraph by editing that post, add a page break: https://www.screencast.com/t/ei6D7vUypqU and it will split your post content into multiple pages like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/iEMpESZMqZQG
Thank you for your understanding!
