Modifying page borders

I have no technical knowledge, so I am not sure what I am referring to are strictly page borders. My issue is that the white space to the left and right of pages/articles is too large and I want to reduce its width, how would I go about achieving this?

In addition, I am finding other elements within the body of the articles/pages are being compressed. For instance I am using a review table and am finding that instead of the rows being side by side on a single line, they are being pushed below one another, defeating the purpose of a neat looking table.

Therefore, I am wondering how I can fix this issue? I assumed this would be fixed by reducing the width of white space? The table looks as it should when I remove the sidebars, but I don’t want to have to do this as I’ve seen sites using the table on pages with sidebars too.

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks

Hello,

If your table exceeds 696 pixels it will only show properly without sidebars. It means it does not have enough space to show up properly. The left and right padding will not help as the main content width cannot be changed. Our theme was not built with a dynamic width in mind. We do not recommend altering the theme width ass all of the theme elements depend on the fixed width. Please provide a link to your site so I can inspect this table and maybe there is a css rule that can be added for it to position properly.
Thanks.
