I did one mistake when I activated Newspaper theme first time. I should have immediately look around and activated child theme in first place. Anyway, now I uploaded child theme to the server and would like to start to use it. But noticed that child theme ignores all my previous changes (page layout, colours, backgrounds, widgets, etc) what I did in Newspaper theme. Tried EXPORT IMPORT option, but that one did nothing. Is there any way to somehow to move these changes to newspaper child theme? Should it not read all that stuff from Newspaper default theme and then overwrite these things if I make some change in the child theme?
I hope that I made myself clear what’s my goal is at the moment.

I’m not sure how you made the changes you mention. If they were made in the theme panel and not by altering the theme code, then the child theme should have nothing to do with the theme panel changes as they are kept in the database. If you edited the theme files, you have to add those files to the child theme as well.
The menus and widgets though will have to be re-created. WordPress considers the child theme as a new theme and each theme requires a menu and new widgets. Menus will only have to be re-applied, but widgets will not be present with the child theme and they will have to be recreated.
The sidebars (widgets) are kept by wordpress separately fort each theme. The child theme is considered as another theme.

I meant all these changes what you can do via Newspaper Theme panel. Anyway, actually it works as it should by default. All previous changes come through. I just had one mistake in code, once I removed it, all the main template changes I did before applied to new child theme too now.
