The adsense ad, about 5 paragraphs into the article, are not displaying at full width as it should fit. (Basically, they are too small) It’s about 40% smaller than it needs to be.
If I disable the responsive settings, and choose a static size – then the ads will overflow on the page when the page is scaled.

You will have to choose another size for your content ad. The size you chose is larger than the container so it falls back to the next size. The content width if you use a sidebar is 696 px. If you select a width larger than 696 px it will not work .
