Another feature request is…
A full post block. I often want to put a special section at the top of my home page. But I am not really happy to be editing my home page so regularly. Also, I can not automate updates to the home page.
If there was a block that could contain the full content of a post, images and all, using its title as the section heading etc. Very much like a text block, but run from a post. Then I could add a new post, automate its publication and unpublishing times, give it the right category and it would post into the home page fo the right amount of time, then it would also unpublish and leave the home page as it normally appears. As an example, a Christmas message might be up until the 25th December, then automatically be replaced with the new year message from the 26th December, until January 1st. Then back to normal until the next event.

Our theme already has a homepage post element where you can add the latest post so it will change dynamically.
However it will not bring the full content of the post, sorry.

Not quite sure what you mean by a ‘post element?’
You have recent posts, or post grid or slider. The nearest I have found is block 11 or 12, but they only show a small amount of the text and it is limited. What I want is a cross between your block elements and the ‘text block’ Content coming from a post, but displayed like the text block.
Is this something that I should actually be posting to the visual composer forum?

I was referring to this element: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/homepage-one-top-post/ But it;s not what you require. It is a different implementation to highlight a preferred post but it will not bring all of the post content on the homepage. Sorry. Our theme does not have such option.
