Then you can add the youtube url directly in the featured video section without any embed codes. Please onyl use the youtube url, not the embed code in the featured video box.
As for the example .com, that is not an issue many of the newspaper 7 users are facing. It is an issue that people who do not understand the embed method provided by youtube no mattert the theme they use.
