The author page didn’t come configured so I’m working it out as I go. I have the side bar working but I can’t get the Most Popular articles to display there by the current Author only, how is this done?

I’ve already configured that, I need to know how to set the content block to show only posts from the current author, ie. if on David Henry profile, I need to limit the posts to only David Henry.
As this sidebar is used across all Authors, it needs to be smart enough to know which is the current author, just like on your demo;)

If you want to want to make your sidebar to be smart, you should enable to form Theme panel. For more information about this feature, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/ Also, as you can see, all the controls about author template can be made from Theme panel, as I explained you above. Also, if you want to limit the posts displayed, you should change the general post list from WordPress, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/n7JRnKXibp
If you want to display more levels in our theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
