Traffic Drops instantly on activating Newspaper theme

Hello –
I am in process of testing upgrade to Newspaper theme on my site. (From wordpress twenty 10)
As soon as I activate the Newspaper theme, the traffic drops instantly to almost 0….
As soon I switch back to old theme, the traffic increases again.
What could be the reason?

the above can be tracked using analytics.google.com (real time)

I believe you must insert your google tracking code, into the new theme.

Theme Panel > Analytics > insert code there.
