Duplicate posts within the same block when using "Load More" Button.

I am having the same problem as this ticket and no answer is posted on it…

I am using “Block 4”.
I have limit post number set to “10”
There is no offset
I have sorting set to “Latest”
I have pagination set to “Load More button”

When the page loads I have posts listed in this order. (assume the numbers are the post ids)

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

When I click on “Load More”, the posts load in this order (assume the numbers are the post ids)

6, 7, 11, 8, 9, 12, 13, 10, 14, 15

I would have expected it to load 11-20. It also seems odd because the posts don’t appear to have any obvious order other than 5 posts are duplicated and 5 are new.

I should also note. When I click “Load More” a second time, the posts load in this order.

21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30

There are no duplicates on the second load more. Same with the 3rd and 4th, no duplicates there. The duplicates only load on the first time I click “Load More”.

I turned off my child theme and loaded the Newspaper theme (most recent version Jan 17,2017 uploaded version) as the default theme.

I turned off all the plugins including visual composer. Cleared cache. No CDN. No custom code.

I am still having the problem of duplicate posts. I checked to make sure it was loading the same post and it wasn’t a duplicate post issue. It is loading the same post with the same timestamp and slug.

Not sure what else to check…

Same issue, same block 12, same ‘load more’.
To replicate the issue:
Install wordpress, theme, visual composer and other required plugins.
Insert at least 10 posts or w/e.
Try block 12 with load more or infinite loading, or w/e.
It will duplicate 1st next post after ‘load more’ or w/e you use.
