The Newspaper default widget does not work. It is the only widget I have an issue with.
If I put another picture, it stays on the widget, I am not able to change.
I have uploaded the latest version of Newspaper theme and have cleared all the cache.I am only using the plugins you have suggested in the documentation.
Can you please help?

The default sidebar cannot be accessed except if the primary category is set to defautl and the blog and post category is set to default
I know it sound complicated but I will try to explain.
1 .Starting from the post. If you leave the sidebar on “default” it will not grab the default sidebar. it will grab the sidebar from the primary category of the post: https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/
2. The category sidebar can be set or left on default If you set a sidebar in the category, it will affect the post in question. If you leave it to default, it will grab the sidebar from the blog and post template here: https://www.screencast.com/t/oyjpI1kbylX
3. Only when the blog and post sidebar is left to default and all the others are as well, will the theme fall back to the “default sidebar” in the widgets area.
If you do not like this fall backl system, simply create a new sidebar and set it to your post and category.

Thank you for the reply. No, that’s OK. It is not complicated at all:). I work with Newspaper theme for a while now, but this has never happened to me. I know how to add a widget to each post and category using the panel or the page setting.
I did exactely as it is shown in the screenshots you sent me, but it still doesn’t work. Maybe this is something to with the latest version?
You can check by yourself if you want and you’ll see that it doesn’t work properly.

Html tags are very important as they will break the page instantly if a html tag is not closed properly.Glad it;s working now.
