Problems With MegaMenu Please Help

Hi GUys

I am not sure if this is an error on my computer or if this is a setting for the theme but it’s really bad.

Say for example I have an menu option url ie http://www.mywebsite.com/thispage. But I want a fancy megamenu. So I design the megamenu on a page http://www.mywebsite.com/thispagemenu. The objective is so when people hover the menu item, they will see the mega menu content of the page /thispagemenu but if they click on that specific item they will still go to /thispage.

Right now what happens is when the mega menu is designed via http://www.mywebsite.com/thispagemenu and then applied to the button for http://www.mywebsite.com/thispage it means that even if you click on the button for /thispage you will still end up viewing the original page for /thispagemenu which is not where you want your audience to go. It is just a mega menu design.

It is so bad that once it is set, even when you do not click on it via the button which has a mega menu, even when you just type the url directly for http://www.mywebsite.com/thispage you will be diverted to http://www.mywebsite.com/thispagemenu. Which means that once your mega menu is set it actually overrides the page link across your whole website which it is applied on the menu.

Is this right or is this an error on my website?

Hello,

The mega menu will not override anything you add to the link. If I add a custom link to the mega menu item, it will lead to that link, not redirect to another. Here is an example: I set it to lead to google: https://www.screencast.com/t/awNAEwDuVkS There is no redirect on the menu item.

Thank you!
