We are working at the moment with the newspaper theme for our client. Our client desires a snapchat icon, which we are trying to supply. Although your theme doesn’t support the icon and field (yet, think i read something about it) we have to do it temporarly ourselves.
I dug into the theme, and although trying not to break it, i came up with an idea to alter the array of the social icons, located in td_social_icons.php
Although adding in the first array the snapchat option, it requires obvious an icon, and since I dont know how to add the icon to the icon array (couldn’t find it, sadly, my guess it’s in a different file, but didnt spot it). Also if left blank, it breaks the admin page, since I guess it requires also an ID. Any pointers for this?
Also, are you guys gonna support Snapchat on the newspaper theme?

Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option for Snapchat, sorry! I have added to our list of improvements but we cannot say for sure if it will be implemented or not, sorry! You could try using some plugins with this functionality and check the results.

Preferly we dont really want to add an extra plugin for this, but if there is no other solution, we will have to broaden our view on this.
Just to play it on the cool side: is there a way i can mod the files so snapchat will appear with a custom icon? As i stated above, we tried to mod the theme a bit. We figured that the icon is linked in an array with the id of the icon and the name of the variable of the possible added snapchat url.
Any pointers here?

If you want to display more levels in our theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
