I am having a difficult time adding a Featured Post Slider to the Newspaper Theme. Maybe it’s just me. I am trying to put a featured post slider into the theme where it post selected articles above the recent posts. I’ve tried putting the code in the header.php file, but nothing happens. I don’t want to kill the site by winging it. How and where do I put the code for a featured post? And does anyone have suggestions on which slider plugin I should use for this Newspaper Theme?

You can use the theme slider and from what you writhed, I understand that you want to add a slider displaying featured posts, you can add a slider to your page using Page Builder like this: http://screencast.com/t/xHAbuxqA
Also you can use the Revolution Slider plugin, if you don’t know how to create a slider follow this steps:

Hi, So far I was only able to complete the first step. I have added the slider to a page, however nothing happens after I save it. How do I add the slider or the page to my website if I am trying to display featured post above my recent articles?
I am also currently trying to use the Revolution Slider. So far I have created a slide but do not know where the code is or where to put the code.
