Hi,
I created a custom plugin for custom blocks and modules using the newspaper API documentation and now when I add a new post with video format, Feature Video meta box is missing. If I turn off the plugin it works. Since this is not a 3rd party plugin and part of Newspaper theme I am not sure what is causing the issue. If you can help me that would be great!
I followed the instruction on this page (https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-plugin-method/) to create the plugin and custom blocks.

Unfortunately the theme api is not covered by the theme support as it represents customization. Maybe you did not create the code properly. I can’t say for sure. Try to download the pre-made plugin from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/practical-example-how-to-add-a-new-block-and-module/ and see if the video issue is still present with our premade plugins. Please download the top one as there are 2 versions. The second one is for older theme versions. (unless you use newspaper 6.5 or older)
