Hi,
I’m using last version of template (v. 3.3.1) on WordPress 4.7.2. My Visual Composer is 4.9

When I try to use visual composer I see in my consol this error:

Uncaught TypeError: $template.get is not a function
at n.html2element (backend.min.js:6)
at n.render (backend.min.js:6)
at n.appendShortcode (backend.min.js:6)
at n.<anonymous> (backend.min.js:6)
at load-scripts.php:94
at Function.m.each.m.forEach (load-scripts.php:94)
at n.addChild (backend.min.js:6)
at n.addAll (backend.min.js:6)
at _ (load-scripts.php:96)
at m (load-scripts.php:96)

script: http://www.festascienzafilosofia.it/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/assets/js/dist/backend.min.js?ver=4.9

This is very important for me because I can’t update my website.
Can you help me?

Hello cobaltica,

Please keep in mind that you do not use the right version of Visual Composer and that’s why you bring some errors in your console, sorry! You should use the version which comes bundled with the theme packet and wich is Visual Composer 5.0.1. Try to update your plugin via FTP way, remove the old version, clear all your caches, purge all CDN files if you are using the CEDN system and check the results. For more information about how you can update your Visual Composer, please consult our guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

Thanks for your understanding!
