Filtering Custom Post Types

Hi there,

You mentioned CPT use on your homepage coming soon. So far I can put one CPT in an block. Is it possible to filter CPTs by category and tag to have different categories of the same CPT on the homepage? That way they would behave as normal wp posts.

I can filter by tag, but with categories I can’t filter yet (Verison 1.7.1)

When I go to “Edit Block” I can only see “Category filter” with the categories from the normal wp posts. Where do I put the categories to filter?

I tried your suggestion, but no luck.
I’m using Events Manager plugin. I have a category “Musik” with the ID fo 6. I have a tag slug “musik” and the name of my CPT is “event”.

Please tell me where to put what to make it work. I think I’m lost. Cheers.

Tried this already – but no success with filtering.

It pulls the event post type (your number 2.) but I can’t filter event category or event tag slug (your number 1.).

I don’t want to hussle you but I still need to know if you’re planning short term to fix the filter problem (by tag and category) with the custom post types in Events Manager plugin in your blocks? If not I have to change theme but I really don’t want to, because everything else fits for me, theme is absolutely great and your support is amazing.
