Problem with Space / Gap between Words and Links in Paragraphs

Problem with space/gap between words and links in paragraphs. It seems to be site wide.

I will give two examples:

1. In the first paragraph in Dragon Spacecraft page, the words Space X and Dragon are squashed together.

2. In the middle of the Boeing CST-100 page you will see the link ‘International Space Station’. There is no gap between the words ‘the International Space Station (ISS)’. It looks like theInternational and Station(ISS).

I have tested it in Safari and Firefox and it looks the same. I also switched to a different wordpress template and it shows the same gap/space problem.

This problem started when I updated to Newspaper 7.71.

I await your reply,

Hello,

If you say you tested with a different wordpress theme and the problem is still there I think it’s clear it’s not the theme theme to blame. Since the issue is present on a different theme as well.
Please check your custom code, your plugins or any other external source that can affect the post content.

Thank you!

This happened after I updated to the latest version of Newspaper before that it was okay.
Should I turn off the plugins and see if the problem goes away.

Can you see the words / links together on your computer?

The only other thing I did was use WP Optimise plugin maybe that did something to the database?

Should I rewind and put the old Newspaper back on again?

Hi,

You can try as a test to disable all the plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and check to see if the problem is still there. From what I can see there is a different style on the post content properties – https://www.screencast.com/t/vyjMxb2c1MB overriding the theme style. The post content line height and other properties can be changed from the theme panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/kIfhNyyQ
Try deactivating the child theme also if you use it.

Thanks

I just login to check the plugins and I noticed there was a plugin update for Minify HTML plugin. So I updated it and it has fixed the problem.

Thank for all the help. Problem solved.
