I have attempted to make changes to the blockquote settings under Newspaper – theme panel – Theme fonts – post content – default block quote. When I change the font size, I don’t see it reflected in a post I created.
It appears the settings are not being saved (even though I am sure I saved them).
Have you seen this problem. I was hoping not to have to use CSS.
Thanks
Hello,
Please note that you are changing the default block quote font, not the other block quotes as well. Our theme has multiple block quote styles and you are probably looking at one of them and not the default block quote.

Thank you!
It depends on the quote you use. There are multiple quotes and that setting only affects the default quote, not the others. If you do not use the default quote, then the setting will not affect the quotes on your site. The default quote is added like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/ZwxtjtEvD If you do not use that quote but use these ones: https://www.screencast.com/t/nBPdOfJOVdbZ then the setting will not apply. You can use css to change the custom quotes though. How do you want to change the quotes?
Thanks
The quote I am tying to change is the block quote as in your screencast image. Just the basic [oversized quote mark] function.
I have gone into the settings I mentioned in the original post. I have attempted to change the point size, trying 10 and 15 points to see what effect. It appears not to have any effect on the basic block quote (as in your screenshot) when I manipulate point size in the – theme panel – Theme fonts – post content – default block quote settings.
If I change this, will it only impact future posts, and not ones that are in draft?
If the answer is that it impacts posts in draft, then I can tell you with certainty that the function is not working.
Hi,
I just tested a post , made it a draft and changed the settings like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/LiDbgBK9AE5
The result: https://www.screencast.com/t/HuaUlXkQb
Works exactly as expected. You may have another css affecting you quotes that interferes with the theme functionality. Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to your site and wp-admin so we can login and investigate this issue.
Please also include a link to this topic so we can identify you.
