h2 – h5 usage in paragraph

Hi,

How can i asian a H tag to a dropcap without the paragraph being affected. For Eg if the starting word or two are H tag and then the paragraph it automatically moves to the next line.

Normal semantic markup for the H tag is to be a “headline” not a single “element.” So, in semantic markup a dropcap should not be an H tag and cannot be inside a P paragraph tag.

Having an H tag for SEO inside a P tag would break that value due to incorrect usage of modern HTML and markup and generate errors on Google validation and other tools.

Generally you would need to stack classes, such as

and then setup custom css for ‘h3dropcap’ and ‘pdropcap’ to adjust desired margin height/width and be relative larger em size and baseline align to top. You basically need to “roll your own” for anything not included with the theme, such as this, or hire a developer.

Basic CSS, but you need to do it yourself, TagDiv can’t write CSS for you, and generally won’t help you write “bad” HTML, either 😉
