post title is too long on slider revolution

Hi, there

I was going to post the ticket to slider revolution but the license is included in Newsmag theme.

I’m trying to add a post slider by using slider revolution. followed the instruction here but not sure how to cut the post title if it’s too long. Would like to limit the title by number of words, for example, and then add … at the end.

Hello iamzifei,

Please notice that you should adjust the post title limit from Revolution Slider option. For our blocks/modules exist an option in Theme panel->Excerpts section, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-excerpts-introduction/

yes I found the excerpt part but I’m looking for limit for title. I would assume I should able to set the limit in Revolution Slider but could not find the option. It will be good if you guys can help me on this, as I didn’t purchase Revolution Slider specificly I cannot submit a ticket to them.

Hello,

Sorry but the plugin does not have an option to limit the post title. You can limit excerpts but not titles it seems.
