Translations not loading

I’m using Newspaper 7.8. When I try to load a new translation (e.g. in French), nothing happens and everything stays in English.

I’ve followed the instructions at https://forum.tagdiv.com/loading-translations/

Any idea?

Hi,

Please check these parameters and make the necessary modifications if required – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ The translation should work properly if you are using the latest version. Also try this while having only the plugins bundled with the theme active, just to be sure that a plugin is not interfering with the process.

Got it. The problems is that you are loading the translations from HTTP and the browser is blocking mixed content.

So it’s a bug on 7.8. Translation loading is not working if WP is in HTTPS
