Site frontpage not refreshing – caching problem?

Love this theme (currently using 4.01) – but earlier this week I noticed a problem where our front page isn’t pulling the latest posts anymore.

While it might look normal – nothing more recent than July 22 is showing up in any of our blocks until you hit “all” in the ajax menu for the category – then suddenly the appear.

Anybody have a thought on this? I’m not using any caching plugins.

Hi,

I’m not sure what are referring too, can you please provide me more details? I have checked your site and seems fine on my side.
Also please check to see if you have “Unique article” http://screencast.com/t/wdGGWhjjbz6 feature activated on your homepage that might be the reason the recent articles are not showing up.

Thanks for the response! We do use unique article, and that was it. Has the algorithm for that changed with the recent release? There seems to be some hidden place on our page that it thinks the posts are already shown – perhaps in the slider, but they weren’t being shown.

Thanks again for the help – this is really one of the best templates all around.

Hi,

No changes have been made to this feature, the “Unique articles” feature is’s displaying an article just one time on the page, if the post is shown first in the slider then it will not be displayed elsewhere on that page.
The new posts may not appear on the page due to cache also so you can try without using any cache plugins.
