Hi,
I need to know how to specify the author name of an article, using a name which is not one among the registered user name.

Hi,
The author of the post will be displayed in the post page. There is no option to have a custom author name set for posts, other then the users created. Maybe you should search for some plugins with this capability, then try a few of them and see if you can find what you are looking for your project.
