Hello,
we have 2 websites. One of them uses Newsmag and the other uses Newspaper. When I share an article from the Newspaper site in facebook I can change the picture and select between different pictures. Please see the screenshot.
When I share an article from the Newsmag site I can change the picture even when I have multiple pictures in the article.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such a default option that allows you to change your images when you share a post, sorry! This functionality does not come from our theme. Most likely you are using some plugin which has this functionality, right? Check the behavior of this plugin and try to implement it in your theme and check the results. Also, you can check the Seo Yoast plugin because this one handles this section.
