Logo Resizing Issue

Hello,
I have followed the size requirements for the logo and uploaded it. However, when I do do it does not size right and remains too large for the area allowed with the ad space at the side. See http://www.argusnews.org for the current view with to much white or empty space around it. I have had to add extra space around the image in Photoshop in order for the whole logo to fit. this is not what I would like to happen.

Hello Beyyette,

I have inspected your website and I saw that you do not respect the recommended size for your logo, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/XCJIwWPvR Why? You should have 272*90 px for your logo. Otherwise, you will bring some white spaces (padding). After these changes, clear all your caches and check the results.

Thanks for your understanding!

Thank you for the response I have tried the suggested sizes and two things happen. http://www.screencast.com/t/1ZJ6nBg80W the logo resizes itself and cuts off and it shows as a different size when inspected.See here http://www.screencast.com/t/kl6mlPG4ySu However, these are the only two image sizes I have uploaded. http://www.screencast.com/t/iylMfCMd7k AND http://www.screencast.com/t/PBuy9bkWROI

what you saw was my only solution. Hope this helps.

Cheers

A quick note to anyone reading this thread if you are having the same issue, check that your image upload is set to the full size and that you are not using the thumbnail version!!! that was the solution that TagDiv found for us and it worked….kinda like magic.

Thank you so much, Beyyette, for taking the time too post this solution to the resizing of the logos. It saved me from having to wait a few days for the answer. 😉
