I guess that you want to add a custom URL to your image, right? Try to use a text block, add inside it a simple image and then when you edit it, you should change from edit Custom URL and add you desired link, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/BOv5uTiY3

I tested with text block instead of Simple Image and with this the link works! Although some details such as shading or border on the image no longer exist, at least it works ..!
