I have a blog with 2k posts that I’m moving to Newspaper. None of my posts have an excerpt because I always used the More tag.
Is there a way to make Newspaper recognise the content before the more tag and display it on posts lists?
I can’t edit 2k posts manually.

Yes, it’s ignoring my more tags and that’s the problem because it’s showing more content than it should.
I’m making tests on this domain oicanada.com.br. Please ignore the first post because I added an excerpt manually on that one but I can’t do it for 2k posts.
What would be a good solution?

I don’t want to have my content cut. I want it to show all the text before the more tag instead of the excerpt. Is it possible?
It is possible only by editing each post in particular and adding a custom excerpt. The theme has no way of knowing where a sentence ends. It recognizes words and letters, not full sentences. Sorry for the inconvenience.
