Try to use it fullwidth.
I haven’t gotten it to work at any width using any included templates. It shows one article or none, but no sliding.
Seeing this error in js console:
Uncaught ReferenceError: td_resize_page_sliders is not defined
Also this error in site.js:
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected string site.js:89

Sorry for the delay. Have you managed to solve the issue with the slider? I have checked your site and didn’t find any slide there.
If you still have this problem using the slider please try deactivating all plugins one by one and check if the JavaScript error still appear and the slider starts working, I have checked and the slider work fine for me using the latest theme version (4.1).
Also check if the Autoplay slider (at x seconds) field is set when editing the slider and you have at least 8 posts to show in the slide like this: http://screencast.com/t/p9cGo6bb
